Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus pandemic is affecting all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. During this time, we want to reach out and update you on how we are approaching the situation here at Tax & Wealth Management.
First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who has been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. We are truly inspired by the selfless healthcare workers around the world who are on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need.
Second, at Tax & Wealth Management, we are focused on the health and safety of our employees, families and communities. The IRS announced on March 20, 2020 that they have extended the April 15th deadline to file and pay to July 15, 2020. Here at Tax & Wealth Management, we are continuing to work normal business hours with voluntary/reduced staff. We appreciate your understanding if there are any delays on getting back to you. We anticipate that IRS return processing will be delayed. This may impact taxpayers refund delivery times.
Lastly, in case of a mandated lock-down, we will comply with the leaders of our country and state and follow their orders. During a lock-down, our office will be closed and no staff will be available to respond to any inquires.
We have an amazing team here at Tax & Wealth Management that are here for you. This moment reminds us that we are all connected like never before. We are called upon to be our best selves, with patience, understanding and compassion. On behalf of all of us at Tax & Wealth Management, we are committed to being your partner and persevering together in all the days and years ahead.
As we go forward, we will be sure to keep you updated, and please know that we always value your questions, ideas and feedback.
Sincerely, David, Bill, Robert &Your Tax & Wealth Management Team
