Paul Witzke, CPA, PFS
Paul has over 30 years experience in investment management, financial and tax planning. After graduating from the University of Washington in 1967 with a degree in accounting, he served in the armed forces for three years. In 1971 Paul went to work as an Internal Revenue Agent. While working tax audits in Corvallis, Oregon, Paul and his wife Judy fell in love with the town. So in 1976 Paul moved his family to Corvallis in order to practice public accounting. Paul’s common sense advice prompted many of his clients to encourage him to formally offer financial planning services. In 1991 he became a Certified Financial Planner. Paul holds Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and Series 66 (NASAA Uniform Combined State Law Exam) securities licenses as well as being licensed for Life, Health, and Variable Life Insurance.
Paul has been married to Judy since 1967. They have four grown children and six grandchildren. Paul was an All-American diver in college, and still enjoys swimming with a local master’s team. His other passions are sailboarding on the Columbia River and spending time on their Nordic Tug, M/V RELIANCE. Paul and Judy have sailed to Hawaii, Glacier Bay in Alaska and the sea of Cortez in Mexico. Judy retired from careers in high school teaching and real estate. In addition to being an avid sailor, Judy enjoys teaching piano.
